The Lightsaver LS 656 Protective Earmuffs are engineered for shooters who demand reliable hearing protection without compromising comfort. Offering a noise reduction range of 25-32 dB, these earmuffs meet the stringent EN352-1 (SANS50352) European standards, ensuring your ears are safeguarded during shooting activities.Designed with a padded headband and replaceable snap-in ear cushions, the LS 656 provides a secure and comfortable fit for extended use. Each pair includes two extra ear cushion pads.


How to Use

  1. Pull the ear cups outward and position the earmuffs over your ears, ensuring the cushions fully enclose the ears and seal tightly against your head.
  2. Adjust the height of each cup on both sides while holding the headband down until you achieve a tight and comfortable fit.
  3. Ensure the headband sits straight on your head for optimal protection.
Important: For maximum protection, ensure the ear cushions seal firmly against your head. Avoid interference from long hair, thick eyeglass temples, pencils, or caps, as these can reduce effectiveness. Do not bend or reshape the headband, as this may cause a loose fit and sound leakage.


Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the exterior regularly with soap and lukewarm water. Do not immerse in water.
  • Storage: Avoid storing in temperatures above 55°C (130°F), such as behind a windshield or window.
  • Inspection: Regularly check for cracked or worn parts. Replace foam cushions approximately every 6 months.
  • Hygiene Kit: Replace damping pads and snap-in cushions at least twice a year to maintain hygiene and comfort.
  • Safety Note: Contains metallic components that may increase electrical hazards.
Note: Failure to follow these recommendations may impair attenuation and functionality.
